There has been much use of the word 'scary' about certain aspects of training. The following links are dramatisations of 2 historical events that people were forced into by conscription, I would argue that they both merit the use of the 'scary' word rather more so than sitting on an ergo. (please be aware that both scenes are rated 15 and contain violence of a World War 2 kind)
